Refining the project’s Business Plan, Figures and Planning.
This project has been funded through the Gwynedd Piloting Fund, a Fund which has been targeted at community groups in Gwynedd to enable them to trial new activities in their communities.
Hafod Ceiri was established in 2014 by a local group of volunteers following a thorough feasibility study of the area. The study identified M.C. Llithfaen as a building with the potential to house a multi-purpose enterprise center.
Their aim is to present the unique heritage of the local area and support a wide range of people to learn about their heritage through educational and participative activities and events; develop community confidence, encourage enterprise and promote employment in the area and thus ensure a place of worship for the future of Llithfaen and protect a unique building in the area.
Their application to the Gwynedd Piloting Fund for financial assistance to refine their Business Plan and to adapt the project’s figures and plans was successful. Revisiting these plans and improving them will mean that the group will be able to move forward and make grant applications to realize the project.
