This study will build on previous work undertaken to confirm the viability of restoring the water-mill at Aberdaron, a Grade 2 listed building. The research will specifically consider the feasibility of redeveloping the mill as an active social enterprise, with a particular focus on three interrelated sectors; developing Education and Skills, Promoting Rural Culture and Heritage, and Tourism.
The study is part of a wider work programme, which includes architectural designs, detailed engineering reports on the viability of retaining elements of existing machinery, and advice on listed building consent.
