This project is a research project that has not yet been completed.

The aim of the research will be to look in detail at the idea of developing Llŷn Peninsula as an area for ‘slow holidays’, highlighting what action could be taken.

Any campaign would focus on leisure and walking activities on the Llŷn Peninsula. It would emphasise trying to connect communities and visitors to the Coastal Path.

As part of the project, a social media specialist will work with a group of businesses to enable them to better promote what the area has to offer. It will also enable them to promote the idea of slow holidays.

Training the members of the Croeso Llŷn group will give them ownership of the project, ensuring that the idea of slow holidays is promoted in the long term. There will be an option to create a film or creative work with the expert. This will be a good way to show the group how to create that kind of work and enable them to make short films in the future that can be shared on social media.
