GISDA

Feasibility Study on the old NatWest building in Caernarfon.

This project has been funded through the Gwynedd Piloting Fund, a Fund which has been targeted at community groups in Gwynedd to enable them to trial new activities in their communities.

GISDA is a charitable company in Gwynedd which has provided comprehensive support services for homeless and vulnerable young people for 32 years. GISDA is an experienced and innovative company within the third sector in Wales and their experience shows that vulnerable young people need holistic support to enable them to progress in their lives.

GISDA’s head office is based on the Maes in Caernarfon, which the company now owns thanks to the Welsh Government’s CFAP grant in 2017. GISDA has now bought the building next door, the old Natwest bank. GISDA was successful in their bid to the Gwynedd Pilot Fund in order to receive financial assistance to commission a specialist to carry out a feasibility study on the old Natwest bank next door to their existing offices in Caernarfon.

The group wished to use the new space as offices, meeting / consultation rooms, multi-purpose space for creating and developing technology etc. The study will highlight the potential use of the space and enable the group to make the most of the assets they own.

The Feasibility will be available in English soon.
