The project seeks to demonstrate that there are viable investment opportunities for investors on the Llŷn Peninsula in order to support and promote the local economy, keeping ownership in the local area, and ensuring that profits are recycled back into the community.

This project is keen to identify “internal opportunities” on the Llŷn Peninsula.

This means that the “community invests in itself”, through co-operation or share schemes or any other mechanism that allows people to pool their resources. This retains ownership in the local area, and ensures that profits are circling back to the community.

A report was comissioned to look into identifying investment opportunities that would help support individuals, groups and businesses to have ownership over the local economy and to ensure that profits are put back into the area.
