Establishing a mechanism for Cyd Ynni area businesses to benefit from a local hydro energy tariff which offers lower prices for consumers and a better price for producers.
A web interface will be created to communicate with consumers in terms of the prices available. The intention is to reduce the delays associated with energy data to enable a more effective and sensible match for users between supply and demand.
The pilot will offer local energy tariff benefits to local businesses. This is an opportunity to supply local businesses with electricity from a local community Hydro system. We will share the lessons learned and, if successful, there will be an opportunity for other Local Community Energy and businesses across Gwynedd and beyond to be part of this project.
