This project is a research project that has not yet been completed.

There are already some small-scale cheese producers in Gwynedd. They often produce cheese in their kitchens on the farm, where they experiment with cheese production. It is difficult for them to grow and create a business from the product without having a proper place to produce more of their cheese.

The aim of the research will be to find out if there is a demand for specialist equipment to enable milk producers to experiment with cheese production. It will also be an opportunity for those who already produce some cheese to grow their business by enabling them to produce more.

A report will be available at the end of the research which will highlight whether there is potential to develop this further.
